Together with Lazada PH, local tech leader Cherry Mobile is offering what they call the most affordable Lollipop Smartphone in the country, the Touch HD.
We went straight to the meat of the matter mainly because affordability is no new term for Cherry Mobile, and we’d be lying to ourselves (and to others) if we say that their devices are expensive rather than the other way around. Of course, there would be some high-end products on their end that would overshoot one’s budget, but the company has made it into practice to balance their wares – it’s not an easy task considering that Cherry Mobile is not the only local distributor with this in mind, but they are keen on doing so with flair.
As for the Touch HD, it’s nothing short of cheap, affordable, reasonable, and inexpensive and typically whatever you want to add that resists the device on being pricey. The Smartphone itself is (again) just like any of Cherry Mobile’s products: blocky yet palm-friendly and with enough style points to make it look like a premium device. There’s chrome lining that hugs the Touch HD that complements its faux leather back casing. It’s quite light too at around 132 grams, so it won’t be a bother on your pocket.
Unscrewing the Touch HD and you’ll find a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an okay 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (Cherry Mobile says it’s expandable), 8megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash plus 2megapixel up front and a 2,000mAh battery that could go up to 300 hours. All these are underneath the Touch HD’s 5-inch HD IPS display screen (1280×720)
Again, the device will sport Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is still their latest OS before the announcement of version 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Cherry Mobile Touch HD is available at Lazada for P2,999.00. Go buy this baby if you want to save some of your hard earned cash!
